McMaster to endorse Compton

The state Senate campaign of John D. “Dee” Compton announced it will receive an endorsement from S.C. Attorney General Henry McMaster on Tuesday in Greenwood.
A community barbecue campaign rally with residents from Abbeville, Greenwood and Laurens counties will include McMaster’s endorsement. The event, from 6:30-8 p.m., is open to the public.
The rally will be at Greenwood Farmers Market, 1612 Highway 72/221 E., behind Greenwood Civic Center.
